What you will do

• Develop team through coaching, mentorship, goal setting, and performance feedback; define roles and hire to meet department needs.
• Balance hands-on technical leadership with implementation, owning execution, prioritization, and agile delivery of projects and operations.
• Scale processes and tooling for efficiency, champion continuous improvement, and mature capabilities in endpoint, SaaS, and cloud configuration.
• Own strategy for corporate security including IAM and data security; enhance automation, integrations, and metrics to measure impact.
• Communicate risks to leadership, collaborate on risk reduction roadmaps, drive security standards, and support incident response and vulnerability management.
• Accelerate AI adoption, stay current on threats, and partner cross-functionally to evolve security awareness and training.

Requirements

• 8+ years progressive engineering and security experience; 3+ years managing security engineering teams
• Expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure; hands-on designing, implementing, operating security controls at scale.
• Experience securing endpoint, SaaS, cloud environments; IAM and data security programs.
• Software development in Python, Go etc.; Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Comfort with occasional off-hours incident response; ability to operate in ambiguity
• Strong communication, systems thinking, metrics usage, and cross-functional leadership.
