TL;DR
Compliance Exam Lead (Fintech): Managing end-to-end regulatory examination lifecycles and coordinating information requests with internal stakeholders with an accent on consumer financial services compliance. Focus on fulfilling external regulatory obligations, managing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to consumer protection laws.
Location: Remote (US only). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Salary: $115,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do
- Manage and independently fulfill regulatory examination requests end-to-end from a compliance perspective.
- Coordinate corrective actions resulting from supervisory activities and report progress to management.
- Maintain a central repository for examination workpapers, responses, and regulatory guidance.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Senior Manager to draft reports and memos for key stakeholders.
- Perform due diligence reviews to ensure documentation quality before submission to regulators.
- Identify and articulate compliance risks and the controls employed to mitigate them.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in licensing, compliance, regulatory, or internal audit, specifically within consumer financial services.
- Working knowledge of consumer protection laws (HMDA, BSA/AML, OFAC, Regulation E, FCRA, FDCPA, CAN-SPAM, TILA, and UDAAP).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional professional experience.
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to balance multiple overlapping projects and priorities.
