What you will do

• Collaborate with Product teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks without compromising business objectives.
• Review and approve financial services marketing materials to ensure regulatory and industry compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to address root causes of compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain compliance training and reference materials.
• Support the completion of compliance risk assessments and control inventory documentation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance for new and revised financial products.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada (visa sponsorship is not available).
• 5+ years of experience in a compliance product advisory role within financial services.
• Experience advising on products subject to TILA (Reg. Z) and/or EFTA (Reg. E), such as credit cards or deposit products.
• Working knowledge of consumer financial laws including UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, ECOA, and TISA.
• Experience advising revenue-generating stakeholder groups, specifically Product and Engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
