What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for network providers, physicians, and members.
• Process authorization request intake through phone, fax, and web channels.
• Collect non-clinical and structured clinical data for authorizations.
• Verify member eligibility and physician/facility participation.
• Initiate online authorizations and escalate cases for second-level medical necessity review.
• Resolve questions and follow-ups regarding existing authorization requests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a medical, healthcare, or contact center setting.
• Strong skills in data entry and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to operate computer programs and software effectively.
