What you will do
- Lead cross-disciplinary delivery teams to deliver outcomes on time, to budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives to remove blockers.
- Create and manage delivery plans while aligning dependencies across multiple squads and initiatives.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and assumptions affecting delivery and benefits realization.
- Manage squad budgets and capacity, tracking spend and resolving bottlenecks with the Portfolio Manager.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, Heads of Product, and external partners to maintain flow.
Requirements
- Proven ability to govern large, complex, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models, with a strong grasp of Kanban.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen for effective budget and capacity planning.
- Expertise in stakeholder and 3rd party management, including facilitating discussions on high-risk areas.
- Ability to identify and coordinate dependencies across services and optimize delivery flow.
- Must be able to successfully undergo credit, CIFAS, Right to Work, and potentially DBS criminal records checks.
