Procurement Assistant

What you will do

• Issue and manage RFQs for electronic components and analyze supplier quotations.
• Process purchase requests and maintain accurate data entry in the Sage X3 ERP system.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues related to deliveries, pricing, or order discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and engineering teams to align on order status and operational needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
• Maintain up-to-date records of new parts and supplier information in the ERP.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar procurement role.
• GCSE Maths & English (Grade A-C).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• CIPS Level 3 certification or higher.
