What you will do

• Lead procurement activities from cradle to contract execution as part of cross-functional project team.
• Develop subcontract strategies, ITTs, and flow down client obligations into subcontract terms.
• Manage full tender process including clarifications, evaluations, and subcontractor recommendations.
• Negotiate and award NEC4 subcontracts, finalize terms, and conduct kick-off meetings.
• Handover executed subcontracts to project commercial team and support post-award as needed.
• Progress subsequent packages per procurement plan under programme and cost pressures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience creating, negotiating, and awarding NEC3/NEC4 subcontracts in live projects.
• Proven track record in senior project procurement/subcontracting, handling multiple complex packages.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, C&I, multidiscipline construction, site services, and specialist subcontractors.
• Membership of CIPS (essential) and professional/postgraduate qualification in procurement, commercial, or management.
• Engineering qualifications (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent) desirable; knowledge of SAP procurement systems.
• Confident communicator able to influence engineers, project managers, and commercial teams.
