Procurement Administration Assistant (Procurement): Providing essential support to the Procurement Services team by monitoring renewal processes and maintaining the procurement database with an accent on compliance and administrative accuracy. Focus on managing non-complex contract renewals, processing purchase requisitions, and ensuring data integrity within SAP Ariba and other IT systems.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in the UK and able to attend the Milton Keynes office approximately once per month.
Salary: £27,319 to £30,378

What you will do
- Manage non-complex contract renewals under £60k, liaising with stakeholders and maintaining records.
- Review and action purchase requisitions to ensure compliance with university policies.
- Support compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, including the publication of notices.
- Maintain procurement records for data accuracy and produce monthly reports to facilitate renewals.
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Services team, including scheduling and minute-taking.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to deliver the Procurement and Responsible Procurement Strategies.
Requirements
- Location: Contractually aligned to the Milton Keynes office with required attendance.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
- Experience with the Purchase to Pay process and purchasing principles.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Sharepoint Lists.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
- English: Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
Nice to have
- CIPS Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience using SAP Ariba and Spend Management functionality.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement (PCR 2015, PA23) and GDPR legislation.
- Familiarity with PowerBI, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate.
