What you will do

  • Define and execute commercial strategy, drive market expansion, and provide strategic direction to sales and marketing.
  • Leverage technical expertise to position as solutions provider, engage customers technically, and collaborate on innovative solutions.
  • Lead national sales teams, maintain key accounts, oversee negotiations, and ensure pricing strategies.
  • Identify new markets, develop partnerships, drive product development, and represent in industry events.
  • Manage commercial budget, monitor financial performance, and align with supply chain operations.
  • Lead and develop commercial teams, build stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance, and act as brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12), Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related; MBA advantageous.
  • 8–10 years in food ingredients, FMCG or manufacturing, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of food ingredients across bakery, dairy, beverage, pharma, nutraceuticals.
  • Proven track record leading teams, revenue growth, key accounts, supply chains, financial acumen.
  • Advanced negotiation, leadership, stakeholder skills; willingness to travel nationally and into Sub-Saharan Africa.
