TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Billing/Fintech): Defining and evolving the product strategy for Duck Creek’s billing capabilities with an accent on premium billing, payment flexibility, and financial integrity. Focus on designing scalable product capabilities for invoicing, collections, and AI-enabled payment optimization.

Location: Remote (US). Must be legally authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship provided.

Salary: $137,800 – $245,500

What you will do

  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the billing domain, including invoicing, payment processing, and commissions.
  • Translate insurer billing practices and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities and outcomes.
  • Lead structured product discovery to solve complex billing and financial-operations problems.
  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities for payment optimization, anomaly detection, and exception handling.
  • Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Finance to ensure technical scalability and governance.
  • Guide the adoption of straight-through processing while ensuring auditability and compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management within SaaS or enterprise software environments.
  • Deep understanding of P&C billing operations, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Proven experience owning complex workflow- or decision-centric product domains.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US; the company does not sponsor visa petitions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant functional area.

  • Hands-on experience with specialized billing systems.
