TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (Platform/Insurtech): Leading the evolution of the core platform powering policy administration, billing, and payment infrastructure with an accent on API standards and scalability. Location: Must be based in one of the 40 listed US states or reside in Ontario, Canada

Salary: $170K – $192K + Equity

What you will do

  • Define and drive the long-term platform strategy for policy administration, billing, and payment systems.
  • Lead discovery on complex platform problems and translate business goals into a sequenced roadmap.
  • Own the API strategy, ensuring reliable, documented, and versioned interfaces for consumers.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to drive solutions from prototype to production.
  • Manage key vendor relationships with payment processors and third-party administration systems.
  • Mentor other product managers and establish platform success metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in software product management.
  • Proven experience owning platform products in Fintech, Insurtech, or regulated financial services.
  • Experience leading platform modernization or re-platforming initiatives.
  • Technical fluency in architecture, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Must be based in one of the listed US states or Ontario, Canada
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Stripe, or Braintree.
  • Experience with homeowners, property & casualty, or specialty insurance products.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial services.
