Platform Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the development of the Global Deployment Platform to enhance software delivery.
• Build and maintain tools for deploying, monitoring, and operating trading software at scale.
• Collaborate with SRE, infrastructure, and networking teams to automate system delivery and operational improvements.
• Support development and QA teams across different regions with building and testing pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Write high-quality documentation for installation, operation, and maintenance of built solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Experience deploying containerized platforms using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Circle CI, Team City, Bamboo).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• High level of English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial markets and FIX protocol.
• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience in Java or C++.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Data Dog, or PagerDuty.
• Previous experience as a team lead or leading engineering projects.
