Salary: $110.4K – $220.8K base + equity + bonus

What you will do

• Manage infrastructure including Nomad, Kubernetes, databases, and 3rd party integrations for Payward Services
• Provide operational support, debug issues in staging and production across multiple teams
• Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and resilience improvements
• Consult on performance, monitoring, alerting best practices with SLA awareness
• Build tooling, automation, dashboards for observability and developer empowerment
• Maintain CI pipelines for reliable builds, tests, deployments; collaborate on release cycles

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE role
• Proficiency with hybrid-cloud infrastructure
• Git, CI/CD configuration proficiency
• Deep understanding of monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana preferred)
• Debug complex distributed systems, networks, Linux
• Containerization/orchestration (Docker, Nomad, Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
• Self-starter for independent remote work in fast-paced environments

• Distributed systems (Kafka, gRPC, Redis)
• B2B/enterprise SLAs experience
• Benchmarking, performance tuning
