What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from proactive prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
  • Exceed quarterly sales targets by employing strategic sales methodologies and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Research and qualify K-12 district prospects, targeting key decision-makers like superintendents, principals, and tech directors.
  • Lead discovery calls, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and craft compelling proposals.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline using CRM and marketing automation tools for accurate forecasting.
  • Represent the company at state and national education conferences, involving up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech or SaaS selling directly to K-12 schools/districts.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding quotas within a high-volume inside sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of school district purchasing processes and key K-12 personas.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, prospecting tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be based in Ohio or within the EST time zone.

Nice to have

  • K-12 teaching experience.
  • Previous experience working directly with educators.
