Channel Sales Engineer (DACH): Provide technical pre-sales support to channel partners, including demos, proofs of concept, and technical training with an accent on cloud security architecture, data protection, and partner enablement. Focus on developing technical evangelists within partners, owning partner technical success plans, and collaborating with sales and product teams to drive deals and gather feedback.

What you will do

  • Provide pre-sales technical support to channel partners via demos, PoCs, and resolving inquiries.
  • Demonstrate product architecture, value proposition, and differentiation.
  • Own technical success for strategic partners, including development plans and quarterly milestones.
  • Conduct training sessions and create sales enablement materials for partners.
  • Build relationships with partners, monitor trends, and collaborate with sales and product teams.
  • Gather partner feedback to inform product enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP or data security in technical sales roles like Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure roles/permissions/API (AWS/Azure preferred).
  • Fundamental network, database, data storage, encryption, IAM, and network design knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of ML/AI, data regulations, privacy, and retention.
  • Proven work with channel partners, VARs, or integrators.
  • Excellent communication skills; SFDC knowledge; results-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect, or Security certifications.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Administrator, Security Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
  • CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional.
