Systems Engineer (Networking)

Salary: 10-14 Million JPY OTE (70/30 split)

What you will do

• Collaborate with account managers to propose technical solutions aligned with customer business goals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical assessments, and proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments.
• Manage the Customer Demo Lab, including deploying and configuring hardware, maintaining L2/L3 topologies, and managing physical cabling.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for RFPs, RFIs, and solution proposals.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal product/engineering teams.
• Support automated testing frameworks and integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or network consulting.
• Strong expertise in enterprise networking, switching/routing, wireless LAN, and cloud-managed networks.
• Proficiency with CLI, SNMP, and packet analysis tools like Wireshark.
• Fluent in Japanese (native or business level) and proficient in English.
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper.
