Location: Remote from anywhere in North America

Salary: $160,000 - $210,000

What you will do

• Partner with the AI strategy team to implement AI-driven toolchain observability using Develocity's data.
• Evaluate the impact of LLMs, coding agents, and agentic workflows on the software supply chain.
• Serve as the technical expert in customer engagements, creating tailored demos and rapid prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer insights into product roadmap inputs.
• Develop go-to-market content, product positioning, and training for Sales and Marketing teams.
• Travel to customer sites and events (approximately 20% of the time).

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Field Engineering, Platform Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting for enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience as a software engineer.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or LLM-based tooling.
• Must be based in North America.
• Ability to prioritize complex activities autonomously in the interest of Sales and Product teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, hirify.global, Android, Bazel, npm, or Python tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Harness, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus) and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk).
