Location: Hybrid in New York City

Salary: $94,000 - $118,000 USD

What you will do

  • Maintain and enhance the privacy compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and taxonomy.
  • Own and mature the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes and integrate them with business change management.
  • Oversee the privacy management platform, including data discovery, classification, and automation of privacy rights requests.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for privacy rights requests (DSAR) ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Conduct privacy due diligence for third-party vendors and review risk assessments.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Tech, and Product teams to embed privacy-by-design into products.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of privacy compliance or data protection experience in a regulated industry (gaming, fintech, healthcare, or tech).
  • Experience managing privacy frameworks and PIAs across US, Canada, and UK GDPR regimes.
  • Must be based in New York City for a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply complex privacy laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with privacy management tools.

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.
  • Basic understanding of IT, data management, and information security principles.
