Manager, CorpSec (Cybersecurity): Leading the corporate security function to unify IT systems, application security, and compliance with an accent on endpoint security, DLP, and incident response. Location: Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec). Hybrid work (min 2 days/week in office) is expected for those near Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto.

Salary: $176,000 – $264,000 CAD

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and tune Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities and manage EDR operations.
• Build and maintain internal incident response playbooks for insider threats, compromised devices, and data leaks.
• Evaluate and deploy AI security tooling in partnership with SMEs to mitigate emerging risks.
• Directly supervise, coach, and mentor the security team to foster professional development.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Compliance, and IT teams to align technical controls with SOC 2, ISO, and HIPAA standards.
• Design employee security education workflows and onboarding programs.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on InfoSec experience, specifically with endpoint security, email security, and security operations.
• Proven experience leading, managing, or mentoring security teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct experience operating at least two of: EDR, DLP, Phishing, SIEM, SSO Providers, or Google Workspace security controls.
• Must be based in Canada, excluding Quebec.
• Ability to communicate complex security risks to non-technical stakeholders with clarity.
• Strong autonomous drive to operate as a primary practitioner without pre-built playbooks.

Nice to have

• Experience assessing AI-related risks or integrating AI into security processes.
• Exposure to enterprise frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with MDM systems and advanced incident management workflows.
