Salary: $130,000–$160,000

What you will do

• Automate SOC 2 evidence collection by building Security-as-Code directly into GCP/GKE environments.
• Partner with engineering squads to embed security into the Definition of Done.
• Tune Datadog SIEM detections to reduce noise and route high-fidelity alerts to SecOps.
• Build masking and synthetic data tooling to reduce PII exposure in troubleshooting workflows.
• Own end-to-end vulnerability management and lead incident response efforts.
• Evaluate and onboard new security tooling through POCs and requirement gathering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing security controls in a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on expertise with GCP, GKE, and securing CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Direct experience leading a SOC 2 audit to completion.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Active use of AI tooling in professional workflows with a strong risk-assessment instinct.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model from Saskatoon or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python or Go; knowledge of PHP or Elixir.
• Deep experience with Datadog for observability-driven security.
• Background in application security, threat assessments, and bug bounty programs.
