TL;DR
System Administrator (Network and Cybersecurity): Administering and securing client network infrastructure and security tooling with an accent on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and incident response support. Focus on deploying Cloudflare services, implementing hardening standards, and executing recovery activities during high-pressure security crises.
Location: Hybrid - on-site at client locations as required. Must be eligible for Government of Canada security clearance (Secret or higher)

What you will do
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Operate and tune security tools such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, and identity platforms like Entra ID and Okta.
- Design and deploy Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions using Cloudflare edge, access, and tunnel services.
- Lead patch management, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management across client endpoints and servers.
- Support active incident response engagements, including system isolation, evidence preservation, and infrastructure rebuilding.
- Produce high-quality technical deliverables including network diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator with combined network and cybersecurity responsibilities.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust (One, Access, Tunnel, Gateway, WARP).
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 / Azure administration.
- Experience with SIEM/EDR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, CrowdStrike, or Splunk.
- Eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance (Secret or higher).
Nice to have
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, MS-102, AZ-104, CISSP, GCIH, or GCFA.
- Familiarity with incident response frameworks like NIST SP 800-61 and SANS PICERL.
- Experience with other SASE platforms like Zscaler, Netskope, or Palo Alto Prisma Access.
