What you will do

• Perform equipment rack and stack, cabling, labeling, and termination of fiber and copper network cabling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including blade, card, memory, and transceiver installations.
• Conduct cabinet and cage audits and maintain overall data center cleanliness and appearance.
• Manage shipping, receiving, and internal package logging at office and co-location sites.
• Coordinate cross-connect orders and maintain accurate inventory and rack elevation documentation.
• Monitor power utilization and provide emergency outage assistance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the New Jersey area.
• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or data center related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of Telecom structured cabling standards and DCO operations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard test equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (Tuesday-Saturday, 4 PM to midnight) and rotational on-call coverage.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb 16ft ladders, and work under raised floors.

Nice to have

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Branch Circuit Monitoring.
