What you will do

• Lead delivery for the Disclosure Studio by aligning priorities and removing blockers to ensure roadmap execution.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, supporting architecture and implementation decisions.
• Manage and coach engineers through performance management and career growth support.
• Drive engineering standards and execution quality by setting clear expectations for ownership.
• Collaborate with Product and Design stakeholders to translate business priorities into technical plans.
• Optimize team processes, tooling, and workflows to increase delivery velocity and scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading teams in a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in people management and supporting engineer career development.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, scalability, and operational best practices.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve team quality.
• Must be based in Canada (implied by salary and benefits like RRSP).

Nice to have

• Technical depth in Angular, Socket.IO, Highcharts, and D3.
• Experience with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with AWS (S3), Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
