TL;DR
Process Design Engineer (Chemical/Nuclear Engineering): Performing engineering assignments of intermediate complexity for enterprise organizations with an accent on technical specifications, design criteria, and engineering calculations. Focus on executing EPC projects, developing P&IDs, and performing HazOp/PHA analyses.
Location: On-site only. U.S. Citizenship required.

What you will do
- Develop and review technical specifications and design criteria for systems of intermediate complexity.
- Perform engineering analyses and calculations to specify materials, equipment, and systems.
- Coordinate technical issues across disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients.
- Provide technical support for procurement and subcontracting, including technical bid evaluations and vendor submittal reviews.
- Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and managing field changes.
- Establish, control, and report on material key quantities and forecasts.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Nuclear Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of work-related experience.
- Experience providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in executing EPC projects using 3D modeling and 2D CADD automation tools.
- Knowledge of applicable federal (including DOE), state, and local codes and standards.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with nuclear facilities under ASME NQA-1 requirements.
- Practical field experience.
- Experience with the U.S. Department of Energy or other U.S. Federal Government Agencies.
- Proficiency in developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and utilizing HazOp Methodology.
