AZSS Facilities Engineer – Process Engineering

What you will do

• Maintain and expand facility process piping systems, specifically Gas and Chemical (GAC) systems.
• Manage IWT/FWT waste water, special solvent, chemical waste collection, and specialty gas delivery systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for capacity analysis, cost reduction, and capital project justification.
• Develop technical studies for system replacements, upgrades, and debottlenecking projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to execute projects safely and within budget.
• Support facility reliability using root cause analysis and review P&IDs, isometrics, and layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial facilities, utility systems, or semiconductor manufacturing engineering.
• Deep knowledge of piping design practices, materials, and construction methods.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Arizona or the ability to obtain it within 3 years.
• Experience leading capital projects and managing contractors.
