What you will do

• Lead material development and cost innovation processes for absorbent hygiene products.
• Define and refine raw material specifications in collaboration with external suppliers and internal quality and process teams.
• Plan and execute commercial and pilot line trials to evaluate material performance.
• Develop intellectual property (IP) to establish competitive advantages in material cost and performance.
• Analyze material characterization data and relay findings to non-technical personnel.
• Collaborate with product developers to investigate new technologies and improve existing product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience and 5 years in Project or Process Engineering.
• 2-5 years of specific experience in Material Development or Process engineering.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and use of Minitab.
• Knowledge of absorbent hygiene raw materials and analytical testing procedures.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the McElhattan, PA facility.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP.
