TL;DR
Senior Track and Overlay Manager: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of venue design infrastructure for races with an accent on integrated venue design, global standards, and operational lifecycle management. Focus on technical feasibility analysis, build and de-rig processes, cross-functional coordination, and continuous technical improvements for sustainable high-performance temporary venues.
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week required in Hammersmith London office, extensive travel to 4-6 international race locations and site visits.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

What you will do
- Lead integrated venue design and technical feasibility analysis collaborating with FIA and designers for new venues.
- Evolve circuit standards and ensure global overlay specifications are met across host cities.
- Manage full operational lifecycle from greenfield to race-ready, including build/de-rig, suppliers, and multi-million budgets.
- Coordinate overlay requirements for hospitality, fan zones, commercial activations, and brief local promoters.
- Monitor season-wide track deliverables and lead projects for efficiency and sustainable infrastructure evolution.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of international event operations and construction best practices.
- Power user of AutoCAD (ideally VectorWorks) for visualizing complex temporary engineering in urban environments.
- Proven high-pressure problem-solving with lateral thinking for design changes and logistical challenges.
- Skilled communicator managing global partners, authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively to 4-6 international races and site visits at short notice.
