What you will do

• Repair and maintain test and fleet vehicles, including routine hub and bearing maintenance.
• Obtain and utilize a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to support offsite and winter operations.
• Set up, calibrate, and validate laboratory machines and instruments to ensure reliable test results.
• Drive quality control efforts and serve as the lead representative for ISO audit processes.
• Collaborate with Scientists and Engineers to troubleshoot equipment and develop new testing methods.
• Mentor junior technicians and establish consistent, safe testing practices within the lab.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; 7+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with an Associate’s degree in a STEM field).
• Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial environments, including operating industrial vehicles.
• Working knowledge of ISO quality systems and manual/semi-automated machinery.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude with basic math and technical writing skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Akron, Ohio.
