What you will do

• Prepare materials for testing or further refined cuts using industrial saws.
• Assist senior machinists with the operation of manual mills and lathes.
• Review cut sheets and determine initial machining steps for new orders.
• Manage specimen numbering and appropriate disposal of excess materials.
• Perform ongoing general machine maintenance and alert management of repair needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Competency with scales and other simple measuring tools.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) to comply with ITAR export controls.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work both first shift (6am-2pm) and second shift (1pm-9pm).
• Ability to read, see, hear, and speak English.
