What you will do

• Conduct sample preparation and assist engineers in performing materials tests for high-tech applications.
• Gather and interpret data for routine pass/fail tests and maintain detailed reports and documentation.
• Build and fabricate custom test rigs and fixtures using measuring, cutting, drilling, and welding techniques.
• Set up test equipment and perform test programs according to written instructions and specifications.
• Manage lab supplies and inventories with appropriate approvals.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (Associate’s degree is a plus).
• 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a material testing laboratory environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, National, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee) due to ITAR export controls.
• Basic technical acumen and ability to operate lab machinery and tools.
• Working knowledge of GLP and Lab ISO process safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
