Salary: $160,000–$190,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Plan and execute flagship events, including the Observe AI engineering conference.
• Own the full lifecycle of corporate and branded events from initial concept to post-event analysis.
• Design and run brand experience events across the Bay Area tailored for AI engineers and technical leaders.
• Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor relations, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, developer relations, and leadership to ensure high-quality execution.
• Build the AI community through meetups, workshops, and engaging technical programming.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or community events.
• Proven track record of planning large-scale corporate conferences or events.
• Experience building events specifically for developers or technical AI audiences.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

• Experience running developer-specific conferences or meetups.
• Background in AI, ML, data, or developer ecosystems.
