What you will do

• Review genetic test orders to verify completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness.
• Identify order issues and place tests on hold to prevent redundant or unnecessary testing.
• Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies or missing information via phone and email.
• Facilitate test setup by linking relative samples and positive controls.
• Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely access to genetic counseling services.
• Document order updates into internal systems to support downstream processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Healthcare, or a related scientific field.
• Availability to work alternate shifts: Sunday-Thursday (1:30-10:00pm ET) OR Tuesday-Saturday (8am-4:30pm ET).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex tasks independently in a remote setting.
