TL;DR

HR Operations Specialist (HRIS): Managing HR processes and system workflows to ensure data integrity and compliance with an accent on resolving escalated system issues and reporting. Focus on optimizing Workday transactions, building data dashboards in Power BI/DOMO, and streamlining HR operational efficiency.

Location: Arlington, TX or Tampa, FL. Must be a U.S. citizen due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

What you will do

  • Execute complex HR transactions and serve as the escalation point for Workday system and data issues.
  • Manage severance processes, including documentation and coordination with payroll for accurate payouts.
  • Develop and maintain HR data dashboards using DOMO and Power BI to provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance through quality reviews and support for internal and external audits.
  • Mentor team members and partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to improve process handoffs.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and operational consistency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR functions.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and processing HR transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work onsite in an office and manufacturing facility environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power Suite (Power Automate, PowerApps).
  • Proficiency in DOMO, Power BI, Workday, and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience specifically in HR Operations.
