What you will do

• Develop optical test beds and execute test plans for coherent pluggable modules under various system conditions.
• Develop test code to automate test beds and streamline measurement processes.
• Debug and analyze test results to propose technical improvements to internal teams.
• Author detailed test reports and develop database solutions for storing results.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in optical communications or a related optics field.
• 0-2 years of industry experience.
• Familiarity with optical fiber coherent communication systems.
• Hands-on experience with optical lab equipment (OSAs, VOAs, EDFAs, power meters) and OSNR measurements.
• Knowledge of fiber impairments including CD, PMD, PDL, SPM, and XPM.
• Ability to automate measurements using software, preferably Python.
