Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 CAD

What you will do

• Provide real-time technical support to address issues on flight simulators.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and perform pre-flight tests.
• Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies and replace defective components.
• Perform aircraft validation tests (QTG) and manage system/computer disk backups.
• Maintain configuration control of software and hardware elements.
• Analyze root causes within C/Unix and Windows environments and interpret electrical drawings.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree in IT, electronics, avionics, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix, C, C++, and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with basic electronic theory, principles, and testing equipment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global software and applications (hirify.globalLIB, STARTEAM, SIM XXI architecture).
• Understanding of hardware/software interactions in aviation simulation.
• Aeronautical knowledge, including avionics, flight dynamics, and aircraft systems.
