What you will do

• Design and maintain shared developer tooling and platform capabilities to improve productivity across the organization.
• Integrate and operationalize AI tools and workflows using providers like Cursor, Claude, and Codex to enhance code generation and review.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to deliver reusable solutions for service scaffolding, CI/CD patterns, and release tooling.
• Build and evolve shared libraries, templates, and reference implementations for logging, telemetry, and resilience.
• Partner with teams to identify friction points and translate them into scalable, self-service solutions.
• Measure the impact of DX initiatives through data on build/test performance and engineering satisfaction.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade systems or platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python, with a focus on clean, maintainable code and reusable abstractions.
• Practical experience translating AI capabilities (LLM APIs, SDKs) into concrete engineering workflows or assistants.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, build tooling, and release automation.
• Familiarity with observability practices, including logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Must be based in the US (specifically New York, Boston, Broomfield, or the East Coast)
