What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to optimize the SDLC for speed, safety, and reliability.
• Deploy and integrate AI tools like Claude Code and build agents to automate on-call responses and bug triaging.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and GKE, handling Terraform, networking, and security best practices.
• Own Kubernetes standards for deployment, observability, and overall developer experience.
• Maintain high-scale observability pipelines using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
• Manage GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments (devboxes).

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Production experience with Kubernetes.
• Production experience managing infrastructure in a major cloud provider, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of coding agents like Claude Code.
• Must be based in San Francisco, US (Hybrid work model).

Nice to have

• Experience with observability solutions like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Distributed Tracing.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitOps, and Bazel.
• Experience with Terraform and cloud IAM security best practices.
• Knowledge of Internal Developer Platforms like Backstage.
• Working knowledge of SRE principles and implementing SLOs.
