What you will do

• Manage and scale a multi-shard AWS environment to maintain high availability and performance.
• Lead SRE responsibilities including incident response, reliability engineering, and improving system uptime.
• Build and expand logging, monitoring, and observability tooling across the cloud infrastructure.
• Set up and configure GCP infrastructure, specifically for AI services like Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.
• Spearhead network security and compliance initiatives using fine-grained access controls.
• Design and implement automation and configuration management to streamline deployments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in a production environment.
• Deep experience managing AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Opensearch).
• Proficiency in shell scripting and at least one scripting language such as Python or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, Linux systems administration, and REST architectures.
• Hands-on experience building logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Must be based in New York City to provide essential early-hours coverage.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI or Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform infrastructure.
• Experience scaling infrastructure specifically for AI/ML workloads.
• Database administration skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with configuration tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
