What you will do

• Operate and optimize AWS VPCs, Route53, CDNs, load balancers, and EC2 instances for high availability, security, and performance.
• Design and implement disaster recovery and resiliency automation across AWS Availability Zones, including regular testing.
• Provide operational support during incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
• Implement monitoring solutions with log management, metrics, alerting using AWS CloudWatch and DataDog.
• Evaluate and optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, cost efficiency, incorporating latest AWS services.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines with Harness, ADO, or GitHub Actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in AWS; AWS Certification required (advanced certifications a plus).
• Proficiency in automation tools: Terraform, GitHub Actions; scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Ability to deliver features independently, engage in technical discussions, guide other Cloud Engineers.
