Salary: $107,700 - $285,900 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, performant systems for the compute platform, including hypervisors and VM runtimes.
• Build automation and features to reduce operational toil and increase platform safety.
• Maintain and improve base OS/container image pipelines and fleet management workflows.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to integrate Platform APIs and adopt best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 4+ years of technical experience in infrastructure domains (platform engineering, container orchestration, or systems administration).
• 2+ years of experience building high-traffic applications at scale.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-native workloads in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience with Azure.
• Experience with planetary-scale engineering systems.
• Expertise in CNCF concepts and cloud environments.
