What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, including EC2, RDS, ECS, and auto-scaling
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS) with best practices for security, networking, Helm charts, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), and service meshes (Istio/Linkerd)
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, automate releases, and integrate AI/ML tools like GitHub Copilot for development acceleration
• Implement AIOps for monitoring, anomaly detection, incident response, predictive scaling, and self-healing infrastructure
• Ensure security/compliance with IAM, VPC, encryption, audits, and Kubernetes security standards
• Monitor systems with CloudWatch/Prometheus/Datadog, optimize costs/performance, provide on-call support, and collaborate with dev/QA/security teams

Requirements

• Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States; available Pacific Time Zone
• Ability to pass a background check
• Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent; 7+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering
• 5+ years hands-on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, etc.); IaC (Terraform, CDK)
• 5+ years CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions); 5+ years Kubernetes/EKS production experience
• Scripting (Python/Bash); Docker; Git; monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus); networking fundamentals

Nice to have

• Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude), AIOps platforms, LLMs for automation
• Kubernetes ecosystem: Kustomize, service meshes
