TL;DR

Business Development Manager (SaaS): Driving client acquisition across Corporate targets (B2C Fortune 5000) by leveraging alternative data and consumer insights with an accent on outbound prospecting and pipeline management. Focus on identifying new logos, navigating the full sales cycle, and articulating the value of complex data analytics solutions to key decision-makers.

Location: Must reside in one of the following US states: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or Washington, DC.

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 (annual base)

What you will do

  • Source potential B2C clients via market research and strategic outbound prospecting.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline and maintain accurate records within Salesforce.
  • Conduct high-impact presentations to key decision-makers to demonstrate product value and tailor offerings.
  • Develop customized proposals and lead negotiations through to contract finalization with legal teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and client success teams to ensure a unified acquisition approach.
  • Manage the post-sale handover to the client success team to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in prospective sales with a proven track record of securing new logos and exceeding targets.
  • Must be based in one of the approved US states: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, or Washington, DC.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative data solutions targeting B2C Fortune 5000 companies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for building trust with corporate executives.
