What you will do

  • Lead independent underwriting and financial modeling including pro forma, DCF, sensitivity, and return analysis for development deals.
  • Own a defined portion of the development pipeline, driving progression from site identification to construction commencement.
  • Lead due diligence and transaction execution for land acquisitions, loans, and dispositions in coordination with advisors.
  • Manage capital and lender relationships, preparing financing packages and maintaining investor contacts.
  • Oversee consultants, vendors, architects, engineers, and municipalities; represent the firm externally.
  • Track project milestones, flag risks, conduct market analysis, and deliver reporting and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5–12 years in real estate development, private equity real estate, or related, with progression in deal responsibility.
  • Proven independent underwriting and strong Excel-based financial modeling for full development pro forma.
  • Experience managing external consultants, lenders, or capital relationships.
  • Asset class flexibility; strong track record in development finance preferred over industrial-specific experience.
  • Ability to work independently in entrepreneurial environment and communicate excellently.
  • Bachelor's in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related.
