What you will do

• Cultivate connections by building and maintaining relationships with self-storage property owners and stakeholders nationwide
• Drive sales by quoting and securing new and renewal property and casualty insurance policies
• Customize solutions by tailoring policy coverages and deductibles to meet specific customer needs
• Collaborate with underwriters to provide required information promptly and accurately
• Enhance customer experience by working with other teams to deliver seamless buying experiences
• Provide support on inquiries about coverages, premiums, endorsements, accounting, or claims
• Engage in industry events with occasional travel

Requirements

• 5+ years selling property and casualty insurance, license in good standing
• Top-tier networker with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executives
• Excellent written, communication, and professional presentation skills
• High degree of technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms and policies
• Motivated to build a newer line of business in a fast-growing insurance startup

Nice to have

• Experience with non-admitted/surplus lines policies
• Self-storage industry or general commercial real estate experience
