Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with offices in Toronto and Saskatoon, Canada

Salary: CAD $80,000–$115,000 base compensation

What you will do

• Research restaurant operators, managers, and teams to identify costly and time-consuming problems.
• Prototype and test ideas with customers, iterating based on research and feedback.
• Own the full design process from problem discovery through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Use AI to synthesize research, generate concepts, refine patterns, and contribute to the codebase.
• Contribute patterns and learnings to the design system and participate in design reviews and critique.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and engineers to ship effective experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a product designer on cross-functional teams, ideally in SaaS.
• Experience shipping work across research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Active use of AI throughout the design process, including research synthesis and concept generation.
• Ability to move from rough sketches to high-fidelity designs in Figma and Claude.
• Clear communication of design decisions, openness to feedback, and a portfolio demonstrating design thinking.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with offices in Toronto or Saskatoon.

Nice to have

• Experience in restaurant technology or working in a restaurant.
