What you will do

• Brainstorm, prototype, and test concepts with customers to validate ideas early.
• Design simple, intuitive experiences that reduce friction for restaurant operators.
• Conduct ongoing customer research, interviews, and observation to drive forward-thinking concepts.
• Partner with engineers from design through delivery to ensure quality implementation.
• Integrate AI tools as a core part of the workflow for synthesizing research and accelerating prototyping.
• Contribute to design team rituals and initiatives to raise the bar for craft.

Requirements

• Experience in a Product Design role on cross-functional teams in a SaaS environment.
• Active practice of using AI tools in the design workflow.
• Proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools.
• Fluency across the full design process, from research and problem definition to iteration.
• Portfolio of web and/or mobile work demonstrating the thinking process and problem-solving.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment with offices in Saskatoon or Toronto.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the restaurant-tech industry or working in a restaurant setting.
