Staff Product Designer (AI/Auth0)

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Salary: CAD 140,000–192,500 annual base salary for candidates located in Canada. Equity, bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, RRSP matching, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave may also be provided according to applicable plans and policies.

What you will do

• Lead design strategy and craft across Auth0 login and multi-factor authentication flows.
• Prototype at volume using AI tools and code, exploring multiple directions and creating functional, inclusive artifacts for Auth0 developer interfaces.
• Design intuitive, scalable, secure, and composable authentication experiences and customization journeys.
• Apply systems thinking, customer advocacy, research, and strong design judgment to maintain a high quality bar.
• Influence product direction in collaboration with engineering and product management.
• Help the broader design organization develop AI-assisted design practices and expand contributions through code and research-driven insights.

Requirements

• Refined product design craft with strong typography, intentional spacing, polished micro-interactions, and close attention to detail.
• Established AI workflow for bringing ideas to life quickly, with clear opinions about where AI tools help and where they fall short.
• Ability to use code to address design debt and implement improvements directly.
• Ability to simplify complex, robust, and composable products into clear user experiences.
• Portfolio link included in the application; password required if the portfolio is protected.
