What you will do

• Architect device‑level thermal solutions, including liquid‑cooled cold plates and advanced thermal interface materials.
• Design and analyze high‑power density liquid cooling systems with multi‑branch and manifolded coolant distribution.
• Lead thermal simulation efforts using CFD and analytical methods to assess steady‑state and transient behavior.
• Execute experimental validation plans, including lab instrumentation and correlation of results to simulation models.
• Collaborate with semiconductor manufacturers to translate device thermal requirements into clear product definitions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to thermal design best practices and standards.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in thermal, heat‑transfer, or mechanical systems engineering.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermal system design.
• Proficiency with thermal simulation tools (CFD/FEA) such as ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, COMSOL, or OpenFOAM.
• Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Must be based in the US; no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analysis using MATLAB SIMULINK, Python, or LabVIEW.
