What you will do

• Lead and support product development projects from initial concept through final production.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including FMEA, Design Input/Output, and Product Validation Plans.
• Design, build, and implement prototypes and testing equipment to validate technology and collect relevant data.
• Develop BOMs, part numbers, and drawings for integration into ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Quality, and Operations to ensure timely project implementation.
• Perform technical calculations and data analysis to ensure all product specifications are accurately documented.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 3+ years of experience (or 1+ year for candidates with an MS/PhD).
• Proficiency in design software such as Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Creo.
• Experience with simulation software including ANSYS or OpenFOAM.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Conroe, Texas and travel 10-20%.

Nice to have

• Experience and knowledge in Oil & Gas or Chemical processes and equipment.
