What you will do

• Lead high-visibility R&D projects for Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and diamond growth systems.
• Design new reactor components applying expertise in machine design, mechanics, thermals, and fluids.
• Oversee manufacturing of machined components and manage the transition from R&D to production.
• Manage prototyping, documentation, and vendor relations for reactor designs.
• Troubleshoot existing hardware to improve reactor productivity and yield.
• Mentor team members and collaborate across multiple company departments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Expert-level knowledge in mechanical design for high-vacuum systems and components.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD) and Teamcenter (PLM) software.
• Extensive experience with industrial machine tools and designing electromechanical systems.
• Advanced degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (preferred).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participating employer)
