Staff Solution Engineer (API Management): Leading the technical sale cycle for Enterprise & Strategic accounts within the Benelux region with an accent on API Management & Connectivity solutions. Focus on driving new business, managing PoCs, and aligning technical value with customer requirements.

Location: Hybrid (Netherlands)

What you will do

Lead the technical sales cycle, helping customers understand the value of hirify.global API Management & Connectivity solutions.
Develop trusted client relationships from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to production.
Drive and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) throughout the evaluation process.
Onboard and train new customers while identifying revenue potential in existing accounts.
Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Create technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements.

Requirements

5-7+ years of experience in pre-sales Solution Engineering at a SaaS, Open-source, or Enterprise Software company.
Foundational knowledge of API Management, Integration, Cloud computing trends, and Open-source business models.
Proven ability to lead discussions with C-level executives, Product Managers, and Engineers.
Experience working with Open-source technology.
Must be based in the Netherlands to support a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

Experience with API Gateway or Service Mesh.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX, HTTP, AWS, Postgres, and/or Cassandra.
Fluency with Linux OSes.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
